BRS Kash’s “Throat Baby (Go Baby)” single was a viral hit amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic last year. This could be partly because Atlanta’s economy has been open and the song has taken over the clubs and airwaves.
The Atlanta rapper inked a deal with Interscope’s LVRN imprint thanks to the record’s success.
Kash released his debut mixtape, Kash Only, which features “Throat Baby” and the newly-released remix featuring the City Girls and DaBaby.
The featured rappers are seemingly the most sought out artists to do remixes with, and they were all featured on MoneybaggYo’s “Said Sum.”
JT delivered another standout verse which was met with mixed reviews because she was flexing her vocals.
“Throat baby didn’t need a remix, simple. Whether it was JT or Mulatto, it wasn’t needed,” one user wrote. Meanwhile another one noted, “Y’all said the Said Sum remix wasn’t needed but couple days later EVERYBODY wanted to fck JT so don’t talk too soon about the Throat Baby remix..”

The Miami rapper hopped on Instagram live to discuss the song.
Fans also criticized the explicit visuals and compared it to Cardi B’s “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion.
“AYO They really had Dababy surfing on SEMEN inside a girls mouth for the Throat Baby video and nobody was like ayo this is not a good idea ??” a person tweeted.
