Eric Marlon Bishop, known professionally as Jamie Foxx is an American actor, singer, and comedian.
Foxx got his start in comedy in 1989, after accepting a then-girlfriend’s dare to tell jokes at a comedy club. He went on to join the cast of In Living Color, which led him to star in his own sitcom, The Jamie Foxx Show. He has won an Oscar, BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, and a Golden Globe for Best Actor for his portrayal of Ray Charles.
Although Jamie Foxx is a household name, and achieved all the mentioned accomplishments, he’s still very much underrated in my opinion. So I’ve took the liberty to sketch up a few reasons why Jamie Foxx deserves more credit:
He’s an awesome impersonator
He can sing his ass off
He is funny AF
He knows how to play the piano
Who else would’ve done a better job playing Ray Charles?
