Tory Lanez was one of the loudest people during the quarantine, but he has been tight-lipped ever since he allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion.

We can only assume that he’s the culprit based on the clues, but there hasn’t been any official confirmation that the Toronto rapper shot the Houston rapper twice in her feet from either parties.

But Kehlani is choosing to support her friend by removing Tory’s verse from their “Can I” collaboration. “full transparency cuz i believe in that with my following, his verse is still on the song, the video is solo. new verse on the deluxe,” she tweeted.

The singers collaborated for an Aaliyah sample on her latest musical effort, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t. “Can I” was a fan favorite, and Tory Lanez delivered memorable melodies for the record. But clearly Kehlani is ahead of the cancel curve.

Sadly there’s controversy about Megan being targeted and getting shot, so some fans dragged her for making a decision without any public confirmation. But the singer calmly clapped back at naysayers.

“I stand with women, believe women, & i love my friends. if that’s something that turns you off from me or makes you no longer support, bless you forreal you have no reason to have ever supported me in the first place.. i’m not your cup of tea,” Kehlani wrote.
