Def Jam Releases New DMX Album on The Day of His Death

Medical Examiner's Office Reveals DMX's Official Cause Of Death

After the recent passing of a famous rapper DMX, there have been various reports that he has been working on something new.

The yet-to-be released album was recorded last year in Nashville. And according to Ruff Ryders Entertainment, it is one of his best.

In another interview, co-founder of Ruff Ryders Darrin Dee Dean alongside tour manager Craig Brodhead discussed DMX legacy as well as what he was working on. Brodhead says that DMX recorded the album in Nashville during the COVID crisis. In an RV they traveled down and worked on it. Making it one of DMX’s best albums fans should expect.

DMX had teased fans about this album. In various interviews, he gave us sneak peeks on who would feature. For now, we know it ranges from Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys, Usher, some people from the Griselda Crew, and even Pop Smoke.

Meanwhile, AllHipHop reports that a documentary was also in the works. According to this report, the documentary was finished by HBO. Reports also say that the rapper wanted to go back into the acting scene. Recently completing a role as Detective White in the thriller Chronicle of a Serial Killer.

As this recent news happens many fans are excited about the album’s release. Due to the unforeseen events of his passing, many are happy to know that there is something more he left behind to enjoy.

Dee teases the album with this, ” You probably never heard no music like you heard on this one that we did right now. This is probably one of his great albums. One of the best. It’s a classic, for sure.”

DMX now not only leaves a legacy of music. But he now leaves something we can expect. Something to enjoy in honor of his memory as a legend in the music industry.
